This study will identify AVID graduates prior to high school graduation who are willing to participate in a post-secondary study. The study will focus on student performance in higher education and the use of AVID strategies by AVID graduates. Participants will be selected from AVID high schools in all divisions. At the end of their first semester of college, AVID graduates will be asked to participate in a survey. College transcripts will also be gathered, once during their first and second years in college.
