This study will examine whether or not any of the AVID demonstration middle schools that started AVID 5-10 years ago have seen major changes in their high school preparation coursework. This research will also focus on determining if there is a difference between a 6 year AVID student and a 4 year AVID student. An examination of the affect of Algebra on 8th grade AVID students will be considered.
